JUST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MYSELF:

Born in Germany, my love and passion for the mountains developed while spending a summer working (on a student work and travel program) and improving my English skills in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado in 2001.

Having heard of the beauty of the Canadian Rockies, I decided to move to Jasper National Park in Alberta for a summer after finishing my university degree in Business Economics in Germany in 2003.

I fell in love with the beauty of the Canadian Rockies on day one.  Jasper’s Maligne Lake was the setting for my first Canadian summer job - what an amazingly scenic work place!

My first Canadian summer quickly rolled into winter, and then another summer, and now I am a landed immigrant living in the town of Jasper in beautiful Jasper National Park.

I truly enjoy all the great outdoor activities Jasper offers (hiking, camping, biking, sea kayaking on Maligne Lake, etc…). I try to spend as much time as possible exploring the park, preferably with good friends and my camera in hand.

Starting with a small point-and-shoot camera to capture the amazing wildlife, beautiful turquoise lakes and mountain scenery, I have upgraded to a digital SLR camera, which affords me more creativity in trying to capture a great shot.

This page is for everyone who enjoys the beauty of the wildlife and mountains of the Canadian Rockies as much as I do.  And of course for my family and friends who have been looking at my photographs over the years, and hopefully still enjoy doing so.
